Jon is perhaps the most famous film maker to come out of the Hawaii underground. His films include "Der Elvis," "My Degeneration," "Hippy Porn," "Mod Fuck Explosion," "Fame Whore," and his award winning "Scum Rock." As of 2022 he is filming "Numbskull Revolution."

Jon also played with Nick Leovin and David Hahn, two Hawaii transplants to the Bay Area, in a San Francisco punk band called "Slanty Eyed Gooks" in the late 80s. He  has taught in the  film studies department at San Francisco State University. He enjoys widespread critical acclaim and cult status with underground film fanatics. See his website here
